I’m done for now talking about lenses, except to see what happens if we cross reference the series on lenses with the prior (and still in progress) series on Alert Levels – like Red, Orange, Yellow, and now with our input, Green and Blue. That pretty much leaves Purple if we’re sticking with your basic primary and secondary colors.
On April 27, I touched on Alert Level Purple as it applies to the excitement Allan and I are feeling as we are getting feedback on the business plan we’ve been stewarding forward for the past four and a half months. So here’s the report: Very Exciting!!
Even our most conservative, don’t-understand-a-thing-about-self-development-products-or-internet-marketing associates are giving us high marks. There are some challenges, of course, things to edit, but bottom line for me is that I’m learning so much right now about where this business is going, that my concept for it is getting more and more refined, which means we have some editing to do anyway.
High creative tension here, and I’m thinking that may be Alert Level Purple, where we let go of trying to understand the business plan development intellectually, and let it go into the same kind of collage process we’ve been discussing recently. We can see our plan readers as different lenses. We can form a vision that we will benefit completely from all of the different perspectives, stay open to the essential DNA of this business development process, and expect ease and grace to have us sliding into home before very long.
